One the UK’s leading boiler installation and repair companies are looking for Boiler Installation Engineers in the Midlands and London to service residential properties. Boiler Installation Engineers will need relevant 4-years’ experience, ACS qualifications and a full UK Drivers Licence. Repair and servicing experience with a wide range of manufacturers is essential. Gas Service Engineers will have several benefits awarded to them, including: training, a fully equipped and stocked van, essential tools and usually working close to home (Mon-Fri only).

Key Responsibilities:
- Installation of boilers and other appliances
- Issue notices and certificates required by the relevant regulations relating to gas safety
- Attend appointments as scheduled and instructed
- Adhere to manufacturer’s instructions when servicing
- Provide information to allow records to be updated following service
- Ensure that vehicles operated by the gas and plumbing team are operated in a safe and courteous manner and represent the company in a positive way to our residents and the general public
- Maintain regular contact with the Team Leader and colleagues to obtain instructions and resolve working problems
- Record completed works and maintain accurate record of work carried out including measurements and calculations
Person Specification: Knowledge/Experience/Skills
Essential:
- ACS
- Full UK Driving Licence (less than 6 penalty points)
- Minimum 4 years’ experience working in a similar environment.
- Specific product training on a variety of different manufacturer’s appliances
- Electrical knowledge (wiring up combination, s-plan & y-plan system, etc.)
- Logical problem solver
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Strong customer focus with the ability to deal with complaints

- Fault-finding qualifications
