Cider Production and Sales Manager - RG1 - RG45

A producer of single estate, locally grown craft cider is now looking for a Cider Production & Sales Manager to join its team. The Cider Production & Sales Manager will take overall responsibility for fruit picking and cider production along with the management of existing clients and the development of new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage picking and pruning.
• Management of the external picking and pruning team
• Cider pressing activities
• Production processes
• Some laboratory work
• Working with the external bottling and kegging contractor.
• Maintain sales to the existing pub network
• Generate sales expansion through increased participation in festivals, food events, agricultural shows etc.

Key Qualifications and Experience

• Most importantly we are looking for a hard-working, flexible, well organised and self-motivated individual with strong team leadership skills.
• Previous cider making experience is not required as full training on these aspects of the role will be provided.
• Must be physically fit, as the role will involve extensive lifting and carrying
• A driving licence is essential
• A forklift licence would be advantageous

Salary - £32,000 - £36,000, depending on experience, plus bonus
