Our client is seeking a Clinical Support Worker to provide holistic, evidence-based best practice care, ensuring a safe and supportive environment. The Clinical Support Worker will need to have a minimum level 3 qualification in a similar type of role, have a minimum of 5 years of experience providing holistic care for age-related frailty, and have a good knowledge of non-pharmacological interventions and strategies. In addition, the Clinical Support Worker will have excellent teamwork, interpersonal, communication, time management, and organisational skills. The Clinical Support Worker will have a full UK driving licence, a good level of fitness, be able to travel to Europe, and be highly professional.

Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to assessment, planning, developing, implementing and evaluating programmes of care
- Maintain effective communications with relatives and other members of the multidisciplinary team
- Work within, and adhere to, defined UK National policies, procedures, standards and protocols of the Organisation
- Be fully compliant with the governing body code of conduct
- Organise workload and utilise time management skills
- Undertake an active role in the management of patient funds/belongings as per expectations of the Organisation
- Responsible for maintaining patient records
- Maintain levels of items such as toiletries, clothes etc.
- Develop personal role by using evidence-based practice and continuously improving own knowledge
- Work as an integral member of the multidisciplinary / household team
- Knowledge of all relevant equipment
- Provide encouragement and motivation to staff acting in an advocacy role
- Promote people’s rights to be respected and valued
- Promote the provision of effective care and treatment, social engagement and respect for family and other members of the organisation/household
- Ensure people are provided with information that will help them reach informed, confident and safe decisions
- Be a continued visible and accessible resource for the Organisation and the family
- Ability to work using own initiative and maintain effective communications
Knowledge, skills and qualifications:
Essential:
- Minimum level 3 qualification in social care or similar
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in providing holistic care to people living with age-related frailty
- First aid qualified or willing to attain this
- Willingness to undergo required training and develop dementia knowledge as part of CPD
- Good knowledge of non-pharmacological interventions and strategies
- Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, communication, time management, and organisational skills
- Is discreet and highly professional
- Good IT skills
- Good level of fitness
- Be able to commit to a shift pattern on a 14-day rotational basis and be flexible for care provision
- Full driving licence
- Be able to travel to Europe, ideally have an EU passport
Desirable:
- Dementia trained or additional studies completed in related subject
- Provided teaching to junior members or other professionals
Salary: £45,000
