Contracts Manager - OX1 - OX49

£45,000 - £50,000 + benefits

A long-standing garden design and landscaping business is seeking a Contracts Manager to be responsible for the preparation, planning, scheduling, monitoring and management of the teams required to deliver their assigned projects. The Contracts Manager will have landscaping experience, have good people and project management skills, have a full driving licence and minimum level 3 qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a successful handover and interworking from Sales to Operations
  • Drive accurate planning and preparation of all projects/services
  • Support and ensure the successful delivery of all projects and services
  • Monitor, record and report data for all projects projects/services, ensuring targets are met
  • Help improve processes and procedures within the Operations function
  • Work closely with the Sales function as they prepare large quotations and then move to a project being brought into operations and start work on the preparation activities
  • Plan, prepare, and manage the delivery of the projects
  • Build and maintain a relationship with clients during project delivery
  • Attend and prepare the documentation required to be reported on at the weekly Operations meeting
  • Follow up on issues and open questions raised during meeting for projects
  • Aim to improve client satisfaction

 

Knowledge, skills and qualifications:

Essential:

  • Must have relevant landscaping skills and experience
  • Attained minimum A-level qualifications
  • Have good people management and project management experience
  • Have full driving licence
  • Good IT skills including Microsoft Office

 

Desirables:

  • Have relevant project management qualifications
  • Completed undergraduate degree
  • Previous experience working at managerial level

 

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000
