Electrical Engineering Technician - CM0 - CM77

A family-run company specialising in electrical engineering and maintenance of power systems is seeking an Electrical Engineering Technician to undertake maintenance, installation and testing on high voltage (HV) and low voltage (LV) power systems. The Electrical Engineering Technician will ideally have a High Voltage background, but training will be provided to the right individual who has minimum ONC level qualifications in electrical engineering.

Applications from ex-military personnel are strongly encouraged.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure health & safety policies and procedures are adhered to on site
• Onsite problem solving
• Provide technical support & solutions to operational staff and clients
• Ensure all works are carried out in a safe, correct and cost-effective manner as required by the company and the client
• Complete relevant paperwork & motivity reports in line with quality standards
• Collect & drop off any required materials or test equipment
• Adhere to and abide by electrical safety rules
• Attend and successfully complete any identified training courses and development needs

Knowledge, skills and qualifications required:

Essential:

• Have minimum ONC electrical engineering qualification or equivalent
• Have a PTL Competency Certificate: Up to & inc. CP6
• Have IOSH Working Safely
• Is First Aid trained
• Have CCNSG safety passport
• Have ECS Skills Card
• Have Water Hygiene / Client Passports Manual Handling training
• Safe Use & Inspection of Ladders Working at Height
• Has Asbestos Awareness training
• Excellent teamwork, communication and customer service skills
