Job Role
Our client specializes in providing fabrications and precision engineering solutions across a variety of industry sectors.
Applications from suitably qualified ex-military personnel (Royal Air Force, Royal Navy, British Army) may be particularly relevant for this position but other qualified candidates are encouraged to apply.
Main Purpose
- Report directly to the Engineering Works Manager.
- To produce and work from detailed engineering drawings, be proficient in procurement and able to converse technically with clients and visit client sites when required.
Essential Experience
- Experience in CAD drawing
- Sound knowledge and experience of fabrications and precision engineering with a good understanding of detail being able to talk to suppliers, customers
- Previous Workshop management
- Ability to work to deadlines on specific projects
- Positive, flexible attitude to work and the ability to perform well under pressure
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Safety conscious at all times, observant and with good attention to detail
