A specialist house charity is seeking an Executive Administrator to provide high level administrative support and diary management to the CEO and other Executive members of their senior team, and day-to-day HR assistance to the Head of People. The Executive Administrator will need to have worked in a similar role, excellent IT and customer service skills, with strong people skills.

Applications from ex-military personnel are strongly encouraged.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily support in diary management ensuring all CEO daily events and meetings are scheduled and well planned
  • Ensure CEO is aware of diary commitments
  • Ensure CEO is supported to acknowledge any gestures which enhance the business
  • Cover for the administrator during absence
  • Provide support to the CEO, Senior Executives and Board of Trustees
  • Provide general day-to-day support to the Head of People when needed
  • Provide day-to-day HR administrative support
  • Manage all stakeholder surveys and record results
  • Lead on applying for awards, bids and making nominations
  • Maintain log of complaints and compliments and ensure all are followed up to closure
  • Be a problem-solver, responsive and willing to meet the changing demands and challenges of the organisation
  • Undertake any other reasonable duties

 

Knowledge, skills and qualifications required:

Essential:

  • Minimum qualifications to GCSE level in English and Maths
  • Have worked in a similar role e.g. Admin Assistant or Executive PA
  • Proficient in IT
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Highly organised, problem solver, creative
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to travel between sites when required

 

Desirable:

  • Worked in mental health or charity

 

Salary:

£25,000 - £30,000 + benefits
