Facilities Officer - DA1 - DA18

A large successful maritime services company is seeking a Facilities Officer to manage assist in the safe and efficient running of their London HQ. The Facilities Officer will work with contractors to provide building maintenance and upkeep. The Facilities Officer will have proven work experience in a facilities environment and an understanding of health & safety principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure efficient running and maintenance of facilities services throughout the building
    • Liaising with outsourced facilities management company or engineers for building maintenance
    • General building maintenance
    • Managing car park
    • Maintaining keys for the building
    • Opening and closing designated areas AM (and PM on occasions)
    • Liaising with office cleaners
  • Ensure health and safety compliance requirements are met
  • Report to the Office Services Manager on all aspects on a regular basis
  • Provide Post Room and Reception duties as and when required and/or for cover

 

Knowledge, skills and qualifications:

Essential:

  • Previous experience in a Facilities environment
  • Understanding of Health and Safety principles
  • Good communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office programs

 

Salary: £25,000
