Our client is recruiting for a Field Service Engineer to service, maintain and overhaul onsite generators. Field Service Engineers need to have previous experience with servicing and maintaining generators or gas/diesel engines. Our client is also looking to hire on attitude and needs a solid, customer-facing engineer with a “can-do” attitude who is willing to get the job done independently.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out all customer work associated with the service, maintenance and overhauling of generators located on customer sites
- Complete all allocated work within the most cost-efficient timescales
- Complete all relevant paperwork clearly and concisely, ensuring all timesheets and other paperwork are submitted on time
- Adhere to company quality standards, policies and procedures.
- Meet customer expectations on service delivery and professional standards
- Utilise company reporting procedures for any job outcomes, concerns, etc.
Person Specification
Essential
- Experience with servicing and maintaining generators and/or diesel engines
- Computer literacy to include Office 365, Word, and Excel
- Good organisational & communication skills
- Excellent customer-facing skills
- UK Driving Licence
Desirable
- Experience in electrical fault finding
Hours
- 37.5 hours per week – Monday through Friday only with flexible working
- No on-call or weekend call-outs
- Time off in lieu
Salary: £40,000 per annum
