Field Support Technician - NN1 - NN29

Our client is passionate about innovating solutions for industry and are currently involved with a variety of interesting projects.  The Field Support Technician will be self-motivated, with a can-do attitude and experienced working with customers.  

You will be part of a small specialist team working with project engineers testing, installing and maintaining telemetry systems.  The successful candidate will be adaptable with and eagerness to learn and evolve with opportunities to develop.

Applications from suitably qualified ex-military personnel (Royal Air Force, Royal Navy, British Army, Royal Marines) will be particularly relevant for this position but other qualified candidates are encouraged to apply.

The job involves occasional working from offices in Kettering and also inside and outside at sites throughout the UK. 

Main Responsibilities:

• providing technical support to our customers and installation engineers
• preparing systems ready to be deployed
• fault-finding and commissioning systems

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• Working with hand-tools and power tools.
• Understanding of Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
• Valid full clean Driving Licence (may be required to drive a van).
• Basic Electronics
• IT skills would be desirable but not essential.

40 hours - flexitime. Monday to Friday, occasional weekend working and overnight stays.
