Fitter - HP1 - HP27

A company specialising in providing a wide range of commercial trailers is seeking a Day Fitter to do routine servicing and maintenance on their trailer fleet. The Day Fitter will have strong experience repairing trailers or other similarly sized vehicles. The Fitter will also have completed minimum level 3 qualifications in mechanical engineering or equivalent, and have a good knowledge of ABS and EBS.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide routine trailer servicing and maintenance
• Prepare trailer MOTs
• Carry out minor accident damage repairs

Shift pattern

Monday – Friday 8.00am to 4.30pm

Knowledge, skills and qualifications required:

• Previous experience repairing trailers or related vehicles
• Is computer-literate
• Have a minimum City and Guilds or IRTEC qualification
• A good knowledge of ABS/EBS

Salary: circa £50,000 + overtime
