An aircrew training company is seeking a Ground Instructor to conduct teaching and assessments of all trainee pilots throughout their training period. The Ground Instructor will have either previous military experience as a B1 or higher, FW qualified, or to a civilian equivalent. The Ground Instructor will have excellent instruction and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct ground-based instruction using Computer Based Training/Computer Aided Instruction/Simulator training as required, including ground school lessons and simulated airborne events in accordance
  • Assist Curriculum Design as a Subject Matter Expert in development and maintenance of courseware
  • Complete Computer Aided Instruction and Simulator operator training
  • Assessment of all trainee pilots throughout their training
  • Complete timely and accurate documentation for all assessed simulator events
  • Recommend updates to courseware and syllabuses
  • Ensure training program is delivered to the agreed training schedule
  • Uphold adherence to the Health, Safety & Environmental Polices and Air Safety responsibilities

 

Knowledge, skills and qualifications:

Essential:

  • Previous military experience as a B1 or higher, FW Qualified Flying Instructor, or civilian equivalent
  • Computer fluency to include Windows, Microsoft Office Suite and Explorer
  • Good administration and time management skills
  • Great communication skills

 

Desirable:

  • Experience as a Military BFT QFI or Ground Instructor
  • Recent relevant Military front line experience
