Health and Safety Advisor - CV1 - CV47

A large and successful company that provides project delivery solutions to a wide range of customer sectors is seeking a Health & Safety Advisor to promote health and safety excellence for their staff and clients; as well as be responsible for both internal and client inspections, training programmes and more. The Health & Safety Advisor will have chartered membership of NEBOSH, have a strong working career within Health & Safety in a similar capacity and have experience in the construction sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for promoting health and safety excellence across the company to both staff and clients including regular initiatives, training programmes and the collection/reporting of safety related statistics
• Responsible for construction site safety inspections
• Improve its safety record by promoting its 100% SAFE programme
• Assist our construction staff in the set-up of our sites including pre-construction activities such as Induction programmes, Construction Phase Plans, F10's and staff training
• Reporting to Board level, the candidate will be an able communicator at all levels and will be familiar with the Considerate Constructor scheme, D&A policies, construction wellness and worker support programmes.

Knowledge, skills and qualifications:

Essential:

• Have worked in a Health and Safety advisory role
• Chartered membership of NEBOSH or equivalent
• Experience in the Construction sector
• Familiar with the Considerate Constructor scheme, D&A policies, construction wellness and worker support programmes
• Excellent communication skills

Salary: £ 70,000 to £85,000 DOE
