A leading transport service provider to schools, and other sectors is seeking an HR Manager to oversee all aspects of HR practice and processes within the company. The HR Manager will need to have relevant qualifications in HR, law or related areas, and have minimum 5 years’ experience as an HR Manager. The HR will also need in-depth knowledge of employment law and HR systems and databases. In addition, the HR Manager will have good communication, leadership, IT, and organisation skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing and/or handling of disciplinary and grievances, ensuring compliance with current employment law; and advise managers appropriate courses of action
  • Manage the company payroll in conjunction with senior management
  • Record and monitor sickness and absence
  • Manage the overall recruitment process from advertising to contracts
  • Keep up to date with current employment law
  • Produce a monthly newsletter and other forms of communication with the staff
  • General duties such as minute taking, answering general queries, generate reports, maintain personnel records etc.


Knowledge, skills, and qualifications required:

  • Have relevant HR, law or similar qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in HR either in a Manager or Advisory level
  • In-depth knowledge of employment law and practices
  • Knowledge of HR systems and databases
  • Have good communication, leadership, IT, and organisation skills


Salary: £35,000 to £45,000 DOE

Hours: Fulltime
