Installation and Service Engineer - SL0 - SL9

£35,000 to £38,000 DOE + OT (OTE £50K) and benefits

A UV printing manufacturer is seeking an Installation and Service Engineer to install and commission a variety of systems and to ensure these systems are in working order. The Installation and Service Engineer will be multi-skilled in electrical, electronic, and mechanical principles and have worked in a similar role and environment. In addition, the Installation and Service Engineer will have excellent people and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and Commission UV (arc), UV (LED), Infrared & Hot Air Systems to a variety of applications – Worldwide
  • Complete a full demonstration / operator training to both OEM & End User of the respective equipment
  • Troubleshoot electromechanical issues of new design and existing equipment.
  • Complete preventative and corrective maintenance, with the ability to detail technical reports
  • Provide remote Product Support and Assistance to Customer’s, OEM’s and worldwide BUV Service Teams
  • Complete the installation of our Accelerated Drying and Curing technologies to meet the required safety and function requirements
  • Complete and record supporting data for the Commissioning and Customer training of our products
  • Working with high voltage and high temperatures, will need to have a good level of experience in the electromechanical disciplines and be safety conscious
  • Have a sound knowledge of mechanical and electrical tooling, power tooling and electrical measurements
  • To be working with water cooling systems, low- and high-pressure air control and pneumatics
  • Recommend and implement improvements to the Installation Processes and Support Documentation, liaising with other departments as appropriate
  • Working with some flexibility, together with other departments to continuously enhance our products and process efficiency

Salary: £35,000 to £38,000 DOE + OT (OTE £40k-£50K)
