A provider of IT services across the UK is seeking an IT and Network Engineer to provide onsite and remote IT and network support. This person will be experienced in a range of Microsoft technologies and communication technologies; be part qualified MCP and/or CCNA/NP. As a small business, the IT and Network Engineer would be expected to assist other members of the team on any number of projects.

  • Providing Telephone, Ticketing and Email, IT support both onsite and remote to a variety of businesses in the South of England and London
  • Technical problem solving
  • Systems monitoring and maintenance
  • WAN communications troubleshooting
  • Workstation/server build and Installation
  • Assisting other team members with projects
  • Switch, Router, Wireless access point and telephony provision/installation


Knowledge, skills and qualifications required:


  • 4-5 years IT Support experience in a variety of Microsoft technologies and/or communication technologies
  • Part-Qualified MCP and/or CCNA/NP
  • Experience in a business client support role
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • A positive and friendly attitude, with integrity and keen attention to detail
  • An intelligent and logical thinker
  • An ability to demonstrate initiative
  • An understanding of excellent customer service and teamwork
  • An ability to learn quickly and leverage available resources
  • A team focus, but also a self-starter who can work autonomously

  • VMware V Cloud and HyperV
  • iSCSI Storage solutions
  • VLAN’s
  • Cabling, Wiring, Wholesale phone connections, ADSL, FTTC
  • Network monitoring, diagnostics, fault detection



  • Practical experience in IT support for small & medium businesses
