Night Manager - E1 - E98

A large cleaning company is seeking a Night Manager to oversee the night shift cleaning operations of their customers based in Canary Wharf. The Night Manager will be responsible for the management and performance of the company’s cleaning teams within service level agreements. The Night Manager will need to have previous managerial experience working to SLAs and worked to strict contract targets. The Night Manager will need to have strong team building skills, negotiation skills and good IT skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all aspects of night shift cleaning operation relating to the management and performance of the cleaning service within the contract service level agreement.
  • Working within the specified detail of the contract and the financial budget
  • Plan staff rota’s and manage staff hours worked, sickness and annual leave to ensure there is no shortfall in contractual hours delivered
  • Manage staff conduct and performance, liaising directly with HR and ensuring that all company policies and procedures are adhered to
  • Carry out cleaning audits to monitor cleaner’s performance and adherence to company standards and client SLA’s
  • Be aware of the condition of the equipment, organise repairs/replacements as appropriate to ensure that all equipment is in safe working order
  • Reporting any faults to Line Manager ensure they are rectified
  • Comply with all company & client policies, procedures and statutory regulations relating to Health & Safety, safe working practices hygiene, cleanliness, fire and COSHH
  • Communicate well and demonstrate a pleasant, polite, efficient, caring and friendly service to customers and clients

 

Knowledge, skills and qualifications required:

Essential:

  • Experience in Management
  • Experience with client contracts and SLAs
  • Proven negotiating skills
  • Confident team leader/relationship builder
  • Good IT skills

 

Desirable:

  • Previous contract management and supervisory experience within facilities management/cleaning
  • Awareness of environmental management systems

 

Salary: £40,000

Hours: 45 hours
