A large and successful sports club is seeking a Partnership Manager to support and manage the Partnership team in the renewal sales process, ensure best customer service, and to develop and implement strategies to accomplish business targets. The Partnership Manager will have experience in managing teams ideally in a sales/partnership acquiring background.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and present market insights, trends and analysis within the sports partnerships industry to the Head of Partnerships
  • Track, monitor and support the team in achieving applicable revenue budgets and targets
  • Manage the departments sponsorship presentation tools
  • Support the Head of Partnerships in developing proposals and presentations for prospective new partners and support the negotiation process as part of any prospective new deals
  • Lead the process in developing proposals and presentations for prospective new partners and any subsequent commercial negotiations
  • Oversee the successful delivery of all contractual deliverables/activations of club partners, within specified timelines, in collaboration with other departments within the wider business
  • Manage the partnership inventory software and provide regular weekly reports to the Head of Partnerships
  • Provide regular reports to the Head of Partnerships in respect of partner servicing operations
  • Maintain strong day-to-day pro-active communication and collaboration with the club’s existing partners

 

Knowledge, skills and qualifications:

Essential:

  • Have proven work experience in utilising leadership & management skills, and customer service skills
  • Have a full clean driving licence
  • Highly professional
  • Demonstrates honesty, integrity, reliability and confidentiality
  • Possess strong time management and people skills
  • Great communication and teamwork skills

 

Desirable:

  • Proven track record in partnership sales within the sports industry
  • Proven track record and good knowledge of partner servicing activation
  • Have a minimum degree level qualification or equivalent

 

Salary: £35,000

Benefits: Bonus, pension, 33 days holiday (inclusive), progression, medical and dental + more

Hours: some weekend and evening work
