Project Manager - WN1 - WN8

A company that specialises in building management systems is seeking a Project Manager to be responsible for the delivery of building automation and integration on projects throughout the UK and the EU. The Project Manager will need to be Prince 2 or APMP certified (or working towards it), have proven work experience in building management systems or similar, and be able to understand technical drawings. The Project Manager will be trained and be provided with a competitive salary and benefits.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the project P&L
• Variation tracking and management
• Handover acceptance from sales to operations
• Creation of technical submittals for customer approval
• Scheduling of labour and equipment
• Weekly and monthly project status reporting
• Understand the needs and drive the development of the engineering team

Knowledge, skills and qualifications required:

Essential:

• Have Project Management qualifications (Prince2 or APMP)
• Capable of technical approval of electrical drawings
• Proficient in the production and management of project documentation

Desirable:

• BMS experience
• Understanding of systems integration of both open protocol and proprietary systems is preferable
• Proven track record in delivering projects on time and budget

Salary: £35,000 to £45,000 DOE
