Project Manager - SM1 - SM7

A large and well established electrical and engineering installation company in the construction industry is seeking a Project Manager to oversee projects related to their social housing electrical contracts. The Project Manager will have previous project management experience, attained qualifications such as Prince2, and have previously managed electrical testing projects in construction. The Project Manager will also have great people skills, communication skills and time management. Work is predominantly office based (70%) but visits to clients will occur. An odd night out may occur depending on the project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project manage social housing electrical testing contracts within London and the Southeast
• Visit sites and meet clients
• Manage site staff and sub-contractors
• Oversee health and safety, and quality control
• Work closely with senior management
• Any other reasonable duties may occur

Knowledge, skills and qualifications:

Essential:

• Have proven experience in project management
• Have gained PM relevant qualifications
• Previously managed electrical testing in construction ideally in a social housing setting
• Great people management skills
• Have excellent communication and time management skills
• UK driving licence

Desirable:

• Have an electrical background

Salary:

Up to £55,000 DOE
