Project Manager - L1 - L40

An events management and production company is seeking a Project Manager to be responsible for large scale events from inception to execution. The Project Manager will need to have a minimum two years’ experience in a similar role with a strong passion for live events and festival management. In addition, the Project Manager will have a proven ability to control large event projects, have an eye for detail, have excellent communication and relationship building skills, is hard-working, and have a UK driving licence. You will need to flexible to travel across the country.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create comprehensive plans that clearly define project timelines, milestones, and deliverables
• Conduct an in-depth analysis of client requirements and project scope as a preliminary step in the quoting process
• Develop detailed quotes, encompassing project costs, resources, timelines, and contingencies. This includes collaborating with sales, technical and client teams to ensure accuracy and competitiveness.
• Allocate and manage resources effectively, including internal teams and third-party contractors, to ensure projects are delivered as per the agreed plan
• Systematically gather project-related information from various sources to inform and refine project planning and execution
• Serve as the primary interface with clients, sales, and technical teams
• Maintain strong communication with all stakeholders, ensuring clarity and transparency in project status and strategies
• Regularly assess project risks and opportunities, maintaining high-quality standards, identify and mitigate risk
• Oversee project budgets, ensuring optimal utilisation of resources and financial performance in line with project plan and budget
• Ensure thorough project documentation in line with standard operating procedures

Knowledge, skills and qualifications:

Essential:

• Have a minimum two years’ experience in a project management role
• Have a genuine passion for events management or similar sector (large scale live events, festival site management, tour management)
• Proven ability to control large and complicated event projects
• Willingness and flexibility to travel across the country and full UK Driving License
• Have an eye for detail, excellent communication and relationship building skills
• Apply logical and logistical planning methods to the department's requirements
• Is hard working, enthusiastic and confident, with a professional demeanour

Desirables:

• Creativity and technical skills knowledge and experience delivering a variety of live events.

Salary: £60,000 to £80,000
