Regional Facilities Manager - Portsmouth - PO1 - PO41

A large property advisory company is seeking a Regional Facilities Manager to provide professional day to day facilities management services to surveyors, clients and occupiers, maintaining and protecting the value of clients’ property assets. The Regional Facilities Manager will have previous experience in facilities management, and ideally have experience in building health and safety. In addition, the Regional Facilities Manager will have a current driving licence, strong people skills, and is highly organised.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure H&S compliance through the Client’s H&S consultants and maintain related H&S portal
  • Approve supply chain invoices
  • Assist in the drafting service charge budgets
  • Conduct monthly and quarterly site inspections utilising FM audit reports
  • React in a timely manner to on-site issues with support from FM / FM Lead
  • Meeting with and agreeing works with contractors including where applicable approving quotations and overseeing works
  • Collection of utility meter data
  • Providing an effective response to onsite tenant queries and complaints
  • Assist FMs loading documents to property plus help drive compliance
  • CAFM project mobilisation and ongoing maintenance
  • Undergo the supplier reduction project
  • Complete Company as a Supplier form, collate site documentation, chase supplier invoices
  • Processing invoices supporting the Purchase Ledger Clerk completing a target every week
  • Any other task commensurate with the nature of the role as requested

 

Knowledge, skills and qualifications required:

  • Have attained minimum GCSE qualifications and experience in facilities or property management
  • Strong administrative, communication, interpersonal, organisation and IT skills
  • Ability to work under own initiative and unsupervised
  • On occasion, prepared to adapt working hours to suit business needs and visit other company offices
  • Willingness to learn and develop both personally and professionally
  • Knowledge of processing and coding invoices
  • UK driving licence
  • Previous knowledge of information systems desirable
  • Health & Safety knowledge and have a good understanding of current legislation is desirable

 

Salary: £40,000 to £50,000 DOE

Benefits: £4,070 car allowance, annual bonus appraisal
