Ref 764 - Technical Sales Engineer
Location: Can be UK or EU based
Salary: £45,000 to £50,000 DOE (£80-£85k OTE)

A global leader in two-way radio communications is seeking a Sales Engineer to provide pre- and post- technical sales support and other related duties to customers in Eastern Europe. The Sales Engineer will have minimum completed level 3 in electronic engineering or similar, worked in two-way radio communications, experience in a range of telecommunications and RF. In addition, the Sales Engineer is presentable, able to take ownership of tasks and projects, and have DMR experience. There will be extensive travel to areas across EU.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide pre and post sales technical consultancy/support, including but not limited to, technical qualification of sales opportunities and design of solutions and technical expertise for bids and tender processes
- Provide technical training to partners and identify training requirements to support continuous improvement throughout the Company’s Channel Business Unit regions
- Configure and test systems and terminal equipment for internal demonstrations or trials
- Represent the Company at trade shows and exhibitions and give presentations to partners and end-users as required.
- Produce training documentation.
- Develop an expert knowledge of the Company’s infrastructure and terminal products and keep up to date with any new products and features which are released
- Develop and maintain good technical relationships with partners and enable them to sell the Company’s systems and new products
- Support partners in the design and specification of systems and complimentary software applications
- Take ownership of tasks/projects and proactively see these through to completion
Knowledge, skills and qualifications:
Essential:
- Level 3 in an Electronic Engineering related subject or equivalent experience
- Good level of working experience and practical exposure of the two-way radio communications industry
- DMR experience
- Good working knowledge of some/all of the following: TETRA, RF principles, push-to-talk-over-cellular, LTE, Bodycam, dispatching software applications, body cameras hardware, mobile device management software, SIP and IP principles
- Fluent in English
Desirables:
- HNC / HND in an Electronic Engineering related subject or equivalent experience
- Can speak multiple languages
