Satellite Imagery Analyst Instructor - BS1 - BS49

£100,000 pro rata (6 month contract)

A leading specialist in maritime security is seeking a Satellite Imagery Analyst Instructor to design and deliver a course on SAR (Synthetic Aperture Radar) analysis. The Satellite Imagery Analyst Instructor will have relevant remote sensing qualifications, have experience in processing or analysing SAR data, and have previous experience providing instructional training. The Instructor will also have excellent communication, teaching, and IT skills. It is expected the contract will last for 6 months, and you must be able to clear SC vetting. You can be based anywhere in the UK however when providing course instruction will you need to be able to travel to Bristol.

 

Salary: £100,000 pro rata (6 months, short term contract)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design a course on analysing and manipulating satellite imagery
  • Provide instruction in processing and analysis techniques
  • Carry out any other tasks relevant to the role

 

Knowledge, skills and qualifications required:

  • Have relevant qualifications in remote sensing or similar
  • Experienced with processing Synthetic Aperture Radar data
  • Experience providing instructional training on SAR
  • Is familiar with a range of tools and products relating to mapping analytics
  • Able to clear SC vetting
