Security Manager - LE1 - LE67

A large and successful sports club is seeking Security Managers to ensure employees, visitors, guests and contractors are safe and secure. The Security Manager will be SIA licenced, have previous security management experience and have excellent soft skills. This role will have occasional night and weekend working.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensuring the appropriate staffing levels are required to maintain the safety and security of the facilities
• Liaise with key stakeholders to ensure the delivery of all security activities
• Liaise with all stakeholders to ensure Security deployment is responsive to the needs of the venue
• Guarantee a high standard of customer service is delivered by the team
• Ensuring the safety and security of the staff, visitors and guests.
• Implement and review policies and documentation, ensuring effective communication and training
• Establish effective working relationship with the other key areas of the business
• Operate and maintain a key management service
• Ensure that life safety systems are regularly tested, reviewed and practiced
• Maintain the utmost integrity, discretion and privacy with all company business

Knowledge, skills and qualifications:

Essential:

• SIA Licence (current)
• UK Driving Licence
• Good communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a ‘can-do” attitude
• Demonstrate honesty, integrity and discretion
• Multi-task and perform in pressure situations
• Good time management skills

Desirable:

• Additional Security and Safety licences and memberships (CCTV, IOSH)

Salary: £40,000 to £45,000 DOE

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, some weekend and evening work (time in lieu)
