A defence solutions provider is seeking a Simulator Maintenance Engineer to provide technical support ensuring the ongoing operation of simulator training equipment and carry out maintenance and support. The Simulator Maintenance Engineer will have previous experience fault-finding, installation, commissioning, and maintaining equipment requiring multi-skilled engineering (electrical and mechanical). In addition, has proficiency in IT, able to work under pressure and has good customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities:
- First line trouble shooting and fault resolution with the ability to work autonomously as required
- Responsible for fault finding, maintenance repair and installation and commissioning of simulation equipment
- Responsible for carrying out software, hardware, basic network configuration
- Assess equipment performance so that it is available and ready for use
- Perform pre and post use simulator checks
- Complete technical reports and review technical data and drawings
- Excellent communication and administration skills, both written and verbal
- Comply with H&S guidelines at Company and customer site premises
Knowledge, skills and qualifications:
Essential:
- Working knowledge and experience of electrical and mechanical systems
- The ability to work under pressure and comply with strict timelines
- IT skills with proficiency in MS Teams and Office
- Good customer service skills
Desirable:
- CompTIA
- Forklift or MEWP (training provided)
Salary: £35,000
