Our client provides support in controlling the hazards of site environments.  Caring for both site personnel and members of the public, specializing in protecting against dust, fumes and noise – elements which can be disturbing, damaging and even fatal.

Training will be provided.

Company vehicle + Fuel card

1-year FTC with the possibility of extension

Applications from suitably qualified ex-military personnel (Royal Air Force, Royal Navy, British Army, Royal Marines) will be particularly relevant for this position.

About the Role:

  • To assist the Barrow Project Team in carrying out its operational activities on site.
  • A company van will be provided for business use.
  • The successful candidate will live within commutable distance from Barrow

Key Responsibilities:

  • To carry out on-site technical engineering installations on all Company equipment types
  • To carry out maintenance and inspections as per the service contract
  • To carry out equipment breakdowns as and when required
  • To maintain a high level of site health and safety awareness
  • To carry out ad-hoc workshop/stores duties as required

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Level 3 Electrical Qualification
  • Working knowledge of LEV • Construction site experience essential
  • CSCS / ECS card (technical or above)
  • Driving licence essential
  • Health & Safety certified to level 3 (desirable)
  • MOD SC clearance (essential)
  • Good IT Skills
  • Good level of physical and mental fitness
  • Good customer relationship skills
  • Good verbal and written skills
