A fast-paced and innovative energy firm is seeking an electrical qualified Site Project Manager to run the delivery of their solar and energy storage projects from the development stage to completion. The Site Project Manager will have strong teamwork, people-facing, and communication skills. It is essential for the Site Project Manager to have commercial electrical experience, 18th edition and 2391 qualifications. Ideally also have previous project management experience. Driving licence will be required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take projects from mobilisation through to completion on time and in budget in a controlled and co-ordinated manner, adapting to any changes with minimal disruption to client and company.
  • Production of detailed site surveys reports
  • Prepare, publish and present health & safety documentation to staff, partners, clients and any other stakeholders
  • Work with strategic partners and suppliers to obtain best value quotations for the installation phase of the project
  • Own the mobilisation of projects, including procurement and logistics of materials, plant and personnel.
  • Be responsible for site set-up and site management of the project for the duration of the project, including management of materials, plant and sub-contractors.
  • Quality check and review works completed ensuring the best possible solutions are delivered
  • Constantly evolve the role, our capability and our processes to deliver positive company change.


Person Specification:


  • Commercial Electrician with experience from LV to HV
  • Site Management and Operational Management experience
  • Sub-contractor management / team management
  • Good IT skills
  • BS7671 18th Edition
  • Electrical Inspection and Testing (2391)
  • UK Driving Licence
  • Be able to pass a DBS clearance



  • Project management experience within the energy solutions sector
  • Solar PV qualification
  • SSTS card
  • iPAF


Hours: Monday-Friday 0900-1700, some days longer while on site


Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 DOE
