Site Projects Engineer - (South East, South West, Midlands) - DA1 - DA18

Our client has a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic Site Projects Engineer to join their projects team.  In this role you will be delivering small to medium size projects in construction, building services or similar industrial environment.

Applications from suitably qualified ex-military personnel (Royal Air Force, Royal Navy, British Army, Royal Marines) will be particularly relevant for this position but other qualified candidates are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities 

•  Deliver site-based customer projects at a range of engagement levels 
•  Deliver project performance, monitoring achievement of QCDP KPIs 
•  Form part of a cohesive working team taking a lead role when required. 
•  Ensure stakeholders are appropriately engaged. 
•  Support sales process and site surveys as required. 
•  Ensure that site risks are identified and mitigated, and that regulatory and customer requirements are

   adhered to. 

Experience & Skills Required:  

• Delivering small to medium size projects in construction, building services or similar industrial environment.
• Working in a technical environment, LEV or HVAC experience desirable.
• Complying with site H&S requirements. 

• Good understanding of LEV/HVAC solutions, equipment and technology or similar domain 
• Understands basic elements of occupational health and hazard management 
• Able to supervise the work of contract teams 
• Can read, interpret and manage risk assessments 
• Capable of using multiple IT systems 

Our client teams work on critical national infrastructure so the successful candidate will need to have a clear DBS check and may need to undergo security clearance.   Additionally, a clean full driving licence as this role will involve some UK travel, excellent verbal and written communication skills, good IT skills and customer relationship skills. 

Education: 

• Maths and English to at least Level 2, preferably a Level 3 qualification in a technical subject or equivalent vocational experience
• Mechanical or Electrical (preferred) Technician qualification to Level 3 or above (or equivalent vocational experience) 
• Qualification in Project Management (eg PRINCE, APM, PMP etc) desirable 
• Demonstrable oral and written communications skills 
• Formal H&S qualification (IOSH, NEBOSH etc) desirable
