Site Supervisor - CB1 - CB25

A successful primary school in Ely is seeking a Site Supervisor to start as soon as possible. The Site Supervisor will be an enthusiastic, hardworking, reliable and friendly individual. As a key member of the school team, the Site Supervisor will keep the area safe and maintained. The Site Supervisor will have previous experience in a similar role, have strong IT skills, the ability to learn about systems and understand health & safety.

Applications from suitably experienced ex-military personnel (British Army, Royal Air Force, Royal Navy or Royal Marines) are strongly encouraged.

Key Responsibilities:

• Security, cleanliness, general routine maintenance of the school site and minor repairs
• Locking/unlocking and key holder duties
• Routine testing e.g. fire/security alarms; porterage duties
• Monitoring contracts/liaising with contractors
• Health and safety on the site
• Supervision of the premises during community use, where appropriate

Knowledge, skills and qualifications required:

• Previous experience in a similar role
• IT skills
• Good people-facing skills
• Excellent communication skills

Hours:

1030 to 1830 daily, Mon-Fri. 

An element of out of hours work (Lettings, emergency call outs etc.) including evenings and weekends, may be necessary.

Salary:

£21,00 - £24,000 + overtime
