Supplier Auditor - MK1 - MK46

A supplier of transit packaging solutions to leading UK companies is seeking a Supplier Auditor to undertake equipment and process audits at customer sites to ensure full compliance to asset management and operational processes. The Supplier Auditor will have worked in stock control, is highly motivated, have a full clean driving licence, is proactive, and have excellent organisation, IT, communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and conduct direct training programs for equipment users and implement improvement programs with underperforming suppliers
  • Support the M&S Contract Delivery during busy periods and as cover for leave
  • Responsible for suppliers delivering agreed KPI performance levels
  • Working with the customer to develop and implement agreed strategies and projects
  • Carry out a compliance and audit function for suppliers nationally
  • Ensure the operation performs to agreed KPI levels
  • Continually review service levels and priorities
  • Identify business development opportunities for shared gain potential with customer
  • Work closely with the customer to develop new business potential
  • Ensure agreed customer objectives are understood internally and implemented
  • Proactively work to agreed timescales both externally and internally ensuring deadlines are consistently achieved

 

Knowledge, skills and qualifications:

Essential:

  • Have minimum GCSE qualifications including English and Maths
  • Is conscientious and highly motivated self-starter with a “can-do” attitude
  • Have worked in stock control
  • Good IT skills including Microsoft Office
  • Have a full clean driving licence 
  • Confident and smart with a professional style and approach
  • Proactive team player – ability to work alone and as part of a small team
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and listening skills

 

Desirables:

  • Educated to A level standard or equivalent
  • Microsoft Excel/Word (Advanced Level)
  • Experience working in the Retail, Logistics or Manufacturing industry

 

Salary: £28,000 to £30,000 DOE
