Technical Site Installer – South West - TA1 - TA24

A really fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic Technical Site Installer to carry out installations of our client’s class leading Industrial solutions across the South West.  

The successful applicant will ensure that customer site installations are delivered to the required levels of quality, in budget and on time, at locations primarily in and around SW England

A company van will be provided for business use

Some travel and overnights will be required

Applications from suitably qualified ex-military personnel (Royal Air Force, Royal Navy, British Army, Royal Marines) will be particularly relevant for this position but other qualified candidates are encouraged to apply.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with and train site agents on the use of equipment  
  • Carry out equipment breakdowns as and when required  
  • Maintain a high level of site health and safety awareness 
  • Read, interpret and manage risk assessments 
  • Assist in carrying out general warehouse/workshop duties in depot as required 
  • Assist with carrying out pre-install site surveys 
  • Assist with carrying out LEV Commissioning reports  

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Mechanical & Electrical Qualification Level 3 or higher 
  • Good understanding of LEV/HVAC concepts 
  • Construction site experience essential  
  • CSCS Card (required for work) 
  • Basic project management experience (preferable) 
  • Full driving licence essential 
  • Health & Safety certified desirable (IOSH, Nebosh) 
  • Previous/current UK security clearance (preferable)
  • Good IT skills and communication skills (verbal & written)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Good verbal and written skills  
  • Attention to detail and problem solving
