A leading body shop repair company is seeking a Vehicle Transport Driver to provide professional transportation of a large range of makes and models, including prestige and high-value cars, between accident sites, repair centres, dealerships and customer locations. The Driver will need to have previous experience driving and handling prestige and high-value cars. In addition, you will have excellent customer service skills and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely manoeuvre an enclosed transport trailer carrying a wide range of vehicles, including prestige and luxury cars
  • Load and unload vehicles securely on trailers using appropriate equipment
  • Conduct thorough pre-transport inspections to identify and report any existing damage
  • Ensure all vehicles transported are handled with extreme care to avoid damage
  • Deliver vehicles to designated locations
  • Ensure timely transportation of vehicles
  • Meet and liaise with customers providing a professional and courteous service
  • Address customer queries or concerns with professionalism
  • Adhere strictly to all legal and company policies
  • Carry out general housekeeping duties to maintain a clean, safe, and organised environment
  • Assist with the upkeep of vehicles, equipment, and storage areas
  • Driving in all weather conditions

 

Knowledge, skills and qualifications:

Essential:

  • Valid full UK driving licence
  • Experience towing trailers
  • Ability and care in handling all vehicle types, especially prestige and high-value cars
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Good knowledge of vehicle securing methods, health and safety standards, and transport laws
  • Ability to work independently and maintain a high standard of work
  • Good communication skills and attention to detail

 

Salary: £25,000 to £30,000 DOE
