An award winning and long-standing Group of vehicle body shop company is seeking a Workshop Manager to be ensure one of the Company’s sites is compliant with its processes and systems, dealing with day-to-day issues and ensuring the team is led successfully. The Workshop Manager will have a completed a minimum level 3 apprenticeship in vehicle mechanics or in a similar mechanical engineering and have previous experience in fleet management and vehicle mechanics. In addition the Workshop Manager will have worked in a strong leadership position and have good communication, managerial, and customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate policies and procedures to achieve maximum sales of labour, parts paint & materials and other sales
- Maintain agreed profit margin and return on investment by efficiently controlling stocks, assets and all financial transactions
- Achieve and strive to exceed all targets through an efficient Paint & Body Centre operation
- Ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction
- Help Retailer to achieve industry-leading standards of process efficiency
- Ensure departmental compliance with company policies, manufacturer agreements and industry guidelines
Knowledge, skills and qualifications required:
- Completed a minimum level 3 in mechanical engineering
- Have previous experience in fleet management and vehicle mechanics
- Significant team leadership experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to manage multiple priorities
- Good IT skills, proficient in the use of Microsoft Office programs
- Ideally worked in a workshop type environment
- Have the ability to understand multiple fast-moving parts and concepts such as logistics, finance, engineering, people management and IT
Salary: £45,000 to £50,000 DOE
